About Us North West England Academy

The North West England Imaging Training Academy was founded in April 2021. It is one of 7 in England. Ours is a truly multi-professional academy offering opportunities for medical and non-medical imaging workforce, at all levels/bandings and across all modalities. The aims of the Academy are to provide high quality education and training, workforce support and research. We run in-person, online and hybrid courses, which have been offered free of charge to attendees, funded by NHSE.

We have collaborated with the London Imaging Academy to launch this site and we grateful for their support. Many of the resources on here were produced by colleagues in London, but we are working with our North West of England subject matter experts to expand this collection. 

The site can be accessed for free by NHS employees working in imaging departments in the North West of England and all events run by the North West England Imaging Training Academy will be advertised and bookable through the site. Additionally this exciting venture offers even more opportunity for our North West England Imaging workforce to access education resources from wherever you are and on mobile devices, making this truly 'education on the go'.
