About Us North West England Academy

The South West Imaging Training Academy is proud to be one of seven Imaging Academies across England, dedicated to shaping the future of diagnostic imaging. Our aim is to provide accessible, high quality and innovative training for the multi-disciplinary imaging workforce across the South West. At SWITA, we are committed to strengthening the workforce - both now and for the future. Through strategic workforce planning and comprehensive training, we collaborate with regional partners to expand training capacity. Our mission is to position the South West as a centre of excellence in imaging education and practice, while continuously improving the quality of patient care throughout the region.

We have collaborated with the London Imaging Academy and the North West England Academy to launch this platform and we are grateful for their support. Many of the resources on the platform were produced by colleagues in London, but we are working with our South West subject matter experts to expand this collection.
